I am a Portland-based portrait and fine art photographer. I have always been a lover of Art in its various forms. Growing up, art projects was the one thing that could happily keep me up late into the night. In a family of mechanical engineers, I became the odd one out to pursue a Bachelors and Masters degree in Fine Arts.
Photography allows me to combine all my creative skills and abilities into creating a piece of art, capturing a piece of history and creating something beautiful and priceless. I believe in capturing authentic moments and am passionate about creating art featuring the people I photograph. Each time a client looks at a photograph that makes them smile, each time a photo brings back memories that melts their hearts and catches their breath, I am rewarded and know it was time well spent and my skills and abilities well used.
It is an honor to be let into people’s lives and capture interactions that make for endearing memories, encase fleeting life moments to make them last a lifetime and tell stories through pictures.
Other tidbits about me: I am drawn to people with a sense of humor, integrity and kindness. I am on a quest for the best red velvet cupcakes. Got recommendations?
NOTE: 100% proceeds from your sessions goes towards supporting a family and enriching the lives of two teenage boys – my own. (Hey, that doesn’t make a less noble cause!)
So THANK YOU for supporting and respecting my small business!

You have to make your websites with love these days!
Childhood is a magical, but fleeting time. We help capture some of that magic with authentic portraits that show your child’s personality. Whatever their personality, we want their portraits to reflect their unique self.
Especially with children, we always pull out our camera only after first striking a conversation with them. During your consultation we get to know more about your child and what they’re all about, to help us tell their story.
We encourage you to bring any toys or props that capture their interest. It is not a bad idea to also carry some treats or snacks, just in case they need a quick refueling.
Our families change…they grow up and evolve. Along the way, we get to create memories. Memories we pass on to our children, making them smile as they revisit the past.
Every family has a unique story to tell, knit together with unique dynamics, inside jokes, telling looks, and favorite things to do.
It is these unique stories that we love to capture for you through a fun session, highlighting your natural interactions with each other. Whether it be at your home or a favorite place outdoors, we just want you to enjoy this time together. We want to capture the love and unique relationships you share.
To make this a pleasant and fun experience for you, we guide you throughout the process, starting with a consultation to plan your session, and get to know more about each family member, so we can tell your authentic family story. Your consultation also includes planning your outfits, discussing locations, and envisioning the final display of the images we create, in your home.
Because you can’t turn back time! Our Maternity and Newborn portraits help you document the beauty of this transforming time in your life. Nurturing a tiny human inside you is one of the most amazing miracles of life. A journey that transforms you more than the growing belly others see.
We typically photograph your pregnancy around the 37th week. Whether it’s just a beautiful portrait of you, or with your growing family, our goal is to capture this powerful time in your life and make you feel like the goddess you are.
Our lifestyle approach to newborn photography allows us to capture these tender moments in a natural way in the comfort of your home, ensuring a relaxed experience and the safety and comfort of your newborn. We focus on capturing every tiny detail of your newborn from the delicate wisps of hair to their generous rolls, almost translucent nails, to their tiny toes. The best props to use with your newborn are mom and dad’s loving arms. Props that hold special meaning to you are welcome, be it a blankie made by grandma, something that belonged to you when you were a baby, or a handmade gift. We recommend booking a tentative date for your session, based on your due date. Babies are the most sleepy and free of baby acne in the first 10 days after birth, making this an ideal time to photograph them. However, the priority is your readiness and your baby’s comfort. So we photograph newborns even upto a month old.
Newborn sessions are never rushed, and may take between 2-3 hours, allowing for time feeding, changing and extra cuddles.
Belly casts are a beautiful way to preserve memories of your baby’s first home. A belly cast is the most precious prop when photographing newborns. How cool would it be to be able to see your baby in the mould of your belly, where you nurtured them for 9 months!
Belly casting is done at the time of your maternity session. That would be around 37-38 weeks, so we get a mould big enough to fit baby in for their newborn session. Once your baby is photographed in the belly cast, we create a beautiful art piece out of the belly cast for you to display in your home.
